Pragathi Ravi is an independent science journalist whose reporting has taken her from the deserts of Wadi Rum to the sacred groves of Kerala. Her writing straddles science, society and policy. Her work has been supported by the Pulitzer Centre, Earth Journalism Network and Thomson Reuters Foundation. 

Her work has appeared in Wired, Grist, Inside Climate News, Christian Science Monitor, Offrange and more.

ragathi is also a recent graduate of the Science, Health and Environment Reporting Program at NYU.  She is based in New York.
